Garden totem, created by Halo Acres artist and carved on a hand-built CNC router.
Totem Story: The Phoenix at the top of this totem is a symbol of protection. Other images tell the story of the bear, Ursa, who rises into the heavens to form the constellation Ursa Major (also called the Big Dipper). The stars on the right side of the dipper point to the brilliant North Star.
Material: Douglas fir, finished with a blend of mineral spirits, linseed oil, and paraffin to help protect from outdoor conditions. Stands may be purchased separately.
Approximate Size: 58" high, 21" wide at the wings. The main body is 5 1/2" across and 1 1/2" thick. The wings are recessed into the body and will be attached with screws. (Height may vary by an inch.)
Care: Avoid regular exposure to water, rain, and snow. Recoat with a finish of your choice as needed. (Check to see if water still beads up on the surface.)
With this natural product you can expect some irregularities such as knots, cracks, slivers, wood grain, color variation, weathering, etc.
